Super Fast Project Auditing

Worksharing—new in Ideate Explorer for Revit 2012—is an asked-for feature! You can detect the inconsistent use of families and even worksets with the click of your mouse. As you audit your projects, you can easily implement your preferred graphical or BIM standards. Non-uniformities of style turn into beautiful consistencies with only a few keystrokes. Wrongly categorized groups of data are no longer an issue.

You can also find hidden elements such as DWGs, isolate them, return to Revit to delete them and then confirm the deletion with Ideate Explorer for Revit. A 250 MB RVT can be audited in less than one minute. Think of the hours, uncertainty and file space saved.

Deep Drill-down Capability

You can document, quantify, view and sort building elements by category, workset, family, type or level, room, space, zone and even individual instance. Examine and change your current selection, inspect the current view or the entire project and even build a complex selection from scratch. You explore in familiar ways—the way you find tunes in your music collection, locate hard drive files and search via Google. You can find, isolate and view tens of thousands of elements—the way you want. Then narrow your search results fast thanks to a powerful text search engine.
